No Dude is a Planet

Story

‘No Dude is a Planet’ is a 3D RPG adventure game that has you play as an alien that has crash landed on a tiny planet, and has to choose whether to help the inhabitants with various tasks in return for help repairing your ship (or not, and deal with the consequences).

Inspirations:

Gameplay took a lot of inspiration from games like Mario Galaxy, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, and Animal Crossing, and the Art Style from games or books such as Outer Wilds, The Little Prince, and Little Big Planet.

My Role & Collaborators:

For this project, I worked on the Story Development, Level Design, Artwork, UI, Programming, and Audio Programming. Due to time restraints, I used various asset packs, models and animations (the latter was from mixamo.com) to complete the project, but make my own textures, and any additional animations & models where necessary (for the planet, all the characters, etc).  I was also lucky enough to collaborate with several very talented individuals - Jack Verhaeg (Story & Writing) & Simon Panayi (Sound Design).
